Why the padding matters

Generic healthcare directories reach their headline counts by including physiotherapists, general dental practices, pharmacies, care homes and GP surgeries, none of which buy aesthetic injectables or devices. Every share, screen or match computed over them is wrong by the size of the padding. Omnera covers verified UK aesthetic clinics and nothing else.

They answer different questions. A subscription reports the market in aggregate from filings that are 12 to 18 months old. Omnera reports the individual clinic from what it advertises today, and what changed.

Current, not filed

Turnover from a 2024 filing cannot say whether a clinic has the room, the practitioner or the intent for a new device in 2026. What the clinic advertises this month can, and Omnera records when each brand first and last appeared at each clinic.

Where a subscription wins

A national market-sizing report, category growth rates, consumer demand. Omnera does not publish those, and says so. The drift report is the one aggregate figure it does publish, and it is built from the clinic-level record.
